Resolution and its Types.

Resolution refers to the written form of a motion that was introduced by a group in a meeting which gets drafted after its successful discussion and approval in the meeting. There are two types of resolution:

1. Ordinary Resolution: An ordinary resolution refers to such resolutions which are passed by the members of a company by a normal majority like 51% .

2. Special resolution- A special resolution refers to such resolutions which are passed by the members of a company by 3/4 majority.
