The absolute value of a number is the distance of that number from 0 without taking its direction into consideration

is the sign used to denote absolute value.

For Example -7 and 7 has the same absolute value which is 7, we neglect the sign of the number, or we can say absolute value is always positive.

Hence Absolute value of 0 is 0.
