  1. Aquatic plants are plants that have excepted to living in aquatic environments saltwater and freshwater.
  2. It is referred to as hydrophytes.

Adaption :

  1. Submerged leaves can bend in the flowing water because these plants have very thin binding like leaves, which enabled them to bend in the flowing water.
  2. The stems of some aquatic plants are long, hollow, and light. These stems grow and reach up to the surface of the water and the leaves can float on the surface of the water.
