Given below are the balanced chemical equations for the conversion of:

(a) Lead nitrate solution and dilute sulphuric acid to lead sulphate:

Pb(NO3)2 + H2SO4 → PbSO4↓ + 2HNO3

(b) Copper and concentrated sulphuric acid to copper sulphate:

Cu + 2H2SO4 → CuSO4 + 2H2O +SO2

(c) Ammonia and dilute sulphuric acid to ammonium sulphate:

2NH3 + H2SO4 → (NH4)2SO4
