Solution

Dear Student,

The work - energy principle can be expressed as,

W = K.E (1) , W is the work done a K.E, is the change in kinetic energy such that K.E = K.Efinal - K.Einitial.

According to equation (1) no work is said to be done on the body if there is no change in kinetic energy i.e., the body remains stationary for the concerned time period even after applying any force.
