Solution
6CO2 + 12H2O -----> C6H12O6 + 6O2+ 6H2O
For each molecule of glucose (C6H12O6) produced during photosynthesis, six molecules of carbon dioxide (CO2) and twelve molecules of water (H2O) are required.
The molecules of water get oxidized and the electrons so released are then utilised for the reduction of carbon dioxide to form glucose.
