Solution

Object distance, image distance, focal length, and spherical lens.

  1. Object distance- It is the distance between object and lens.
  2. Image distance- It is the distance between image and lens.
  3. Focal length- It is the distance between the optic center and focus.
  4. Spherical Lens- Two spherical transparent surfaces are combined to create spherical lenses. There are two types of spherical lenses.
    1. Concave lens
    2. Convex lens

The relationship between the object distance, image distance, and the focal length of a Spherical lens.

1f=1v-1u

Where,

v is the distance of the image from the lens.

u is the distance of the object from the lens.

f is the focal length of the lens.
