The property of a material determines how strongly it can resist the flow of electric current.

The formula of resistivity:

The formula for Resistivity is given by,

$\rho =R\times \frac{A}{L}$

Here $\rho$ is the resistivity of the conductor, $R$ is the resistance of the conductor, $A$ is the cross-sectional area of the conductor,

$L$ is the length of the conductor.

SI unit of resistivity.

By putting SI units of these quantities in the formula:
