Double Fertilization: It is the process of fusion of male game with the egg nucleus and another male gamete with the polar nuclei or secondary nucleus is called double fertilization. In all angiospermplants, there is double fertilization.
Significance: The triploid nucleus Cendosperm nucleus developed to form an endosperm which provides nourishment to the developing improved resulting in the formation of healthy seed and plant.
