Solution

Dear student

As per the stated arrangement, there are 80 trees and the person is at centre

so there are total of 81 total which are arranged in a 9*9 square with the person at the centre

all 80 trees are arranged in a 9*9 square such that at centre of the square is the person himself in place of tree

so with the trees evenly placed, the person can watch 8 trees around himself, 1 each in the 3*3 arrangement of trees with the person at centre

he will not be able to see the remaining trees, as trees are placed evenly and fall in a straight line either in line with person straight,or diagonal vision.

8 trees is answer
