Solution

The correct option is B Bal Gangadhar Tilak
Bal Gangadhar Tilak, or 'Lokmanya' Tilak, was an important figure in the Indian freedom struggle. He was a radical member of the Indian National Congress. He was arrested during the Swadeshi movement as the articles in his newspaper, Kesari, were deemed seditious in nature. He returned to India and played an essential role in the Lucknow Pact which not only brought the divided INC together, but also brought about a reconciliation between the Muslim League and the INC.
