Solution

Yolk sac in the embryo of the human female is nonfunctional because after the development of the embryo's circulatory system, the yolk sac is no longer used and decreases in size. Yolk sac is the first indicator of pregnancy after five weeks.
In human females, the yolk sac is present at early times of embryo development and after development of placenta it is absorbed by the embryo.
Placenta is present for the nourishment of the embryo and for transportation for other substances from mother to the baby and vice versa.
So, the embryo of the human female is devoid of yolk sac.
