You are given the following three lenses. Which two lenses will you use as an eyepiece and as an objective to construct an astronomical telescope ? Give reason.

For astronomical telescope, since the aperture of lens $L_{1}$ is largest,it is used as a objective for a telescope. The focal length of lens $L_{3}$ is smaller and hence can be used as a eyepiece.
