You are given two rods. Out of these, one is an iron rod and the other one is a magnet, how will you identify these rods?

1)When we take two rod in contact with another iron or metal,the magnet attract iron particle but iron rod doesn't attract.

2)We will hang two rod from middle to a vertical plane and rotate 2-3 times the magnet always stop in same direction every time of rotation but iron rod stop at different direction.
