Solution

The correct options are
A

NaOH (Sodium hydroxide)

B

H2SO4 (Sulphuric acid)

An acid reacts with a base to neutralize its effect. Hydrochloric acid reacts with a base to form salt and water. Here, Sodium hydroxide is a base so HCl will react with NaOH to form salt and water.

HCl + NaOH -->NaCl + H2O

Sodium chloride and water are formed.

Two acids do not react so HCl will not react with sulphuric acid and nitric acid. Pure water will not react with HCl.
