The correct option is A 11
Since D>>d, the path difference is,
Δx=dsinθ
(Δx)min=0 for θ=0
(Δx)max=d for θ=90

Since, d=6λ
(Δx)max=6λ

So, maximas are formed at,
Δx=0,±λ,±2λ,±3λ,±4λ,±5λ

Δx=±6λ is not possible because angle θ=90cannot be obtained on the screen.
There will be five maximas each, on both sides of the central maxima.

So, including central maxima, total number of maxima=11.

Hence, (A) is the correct answer.
