The diversity of Nature
by Latha
India is a diverse land of cultural and natural beauty. We have the snow-covered the Himalayas and the vast Thar desert. From the tea hills of Assam to the 'Backwaters' of Kerala, the beauty
of India is eternal.
While I lived in Kota, Rajasthan, I had the opportunity to witness the diversity of that land, from the rough deserts to dry skies. But shifting to Kerala, the true natural diversity of India was in
front of my eyes. From lakes to dense forests, cloudy skies to blossoming flowers, I found myself in the lap of nature. It was amusing to witness how dry regions of Rajasthan and cloudy skies of Kerala are all parts of India. Be it the dance of Ghoomar and Bharatnatyam, to food items like ‘Dal Baati Churma' and Idli, Dosa, the diversity is a treasure.
If I wouldn't have shifted to Kerala, perhaps I would have missed this lifetime opportunity of experiencing the beauty of nature. Every bit of my stay in Kerala brought to me the most
enjoying experiences of our diverse natural heritage.
