Solution

The correct option is D Plasmodium

Zygote :
Zygote is the product of sexual reproduction. It is formed by the fusion of a female gamete or egg or ovum (n) with a male gamete or sperm (n). It is diploid (2n).

Hydra:
Hydra is a freshwater organism belonging to the phylum Cnidaria. They reproduce asexually by budding. During unfavorable conditions sexual reproduction occurs in some Hydra. They develop some swellings in the body wall which act as ovaries or testes. The testes release free-swimming gametes into the water which will fertilize the egg in the ovary of another individual. It will not produce motile zygote.

Plasmodium:
Plasmodium is a protozoan parasite that causes malaria. It is coming under sporozoan parasites. It is a digenetic parasite which completes its life cycle in humans and Anopheles mosquitoes. It is transmitted through mosquito bites.

Motile zygote :
When a female Anopheles mosquito bite a malaria infected person the gametocytes are taken up with the blood meal and they mature in the gut of the mosquito. In the gut of mosquito sexual reproduction of Plasmodium takes place with the fusion of male and female gametocytes and forms an ookinete i.e motile zygote.

Ascaris :
Ascariasis is a disease caused by the common roundworm, Ascaris lumbricoides. Sexes are separate in Ascaris (dioecious) and they show sexual dimorphism. Only sexual reproduction occurs in them. The worm eggs enter the intestine of humans through ingestion of water or food contaminated with the faecal matter of an infected person or through contact with soil contaminated with human or pig faeces.

Entamoeba:
Entamoeba histolytica is an amoeboid protozoan parasite which causes amoebic dysentery. It is a monogenetic parasite that completes its life cycle in a single host i.e. man. It is transmitted through contaminated food and water. It reproduces asexually.
