Open in App
Solution

Solve for the volume of the cuboidal water tank:

Given: length=6m,breadth=5m,height=4.5m

To find the amount of water it can hold is the volume of the cuboidal water tank

So, volume of the cuboidal water tank=lenght×breadth×height

=6×5×4.5=135m3

Amount of water it can hold in 1m3 is 1000l

Amount of water it can hold in 135m3 is 135×1000l=135000l

Hence, it can hold up to 135000l of water.
