A man spends 35% of his income on food, 25% on children's education, and 80% of the remaining on house rent. What percent of his income he is left with?

Given :

Amount spent on food =35%

Amount spent on children's education=25%

Then, the total amount spent =amount spent on food + amount spent on children's education

=35%+25%=60%

Remaining amount =40%

80%of remaining amount =80100×40=32%

So, the amount left with him = remaining amount -32% =40%-32%=8%

Hence, 8% of his income is left with him.
