A solid cylinder has a radius of 2cm and a length of 7cm.. It has a density of 3.1g/cm3. What is the mass of the cylinder ?

We know that ;

Mass of the cylinder (m)= volume density×density

Now, density =3.1g/cm3

and, volume of the cylinder =πr2h

=3.14×22×7cm3=87.92cm3

So, mass of cylinder =87.92×3.1g

=272.522g
