Image distance:

  1. The image in human eyes is always formed on the retina, regardless of how far the object is from the eye.
  2. If the object is too far away, the lens will become thinner, increasing the focal length of the eye and allowing the image to be captured on the retina.
  3. When the distance between an object and the eye is increased, the image distance remains constant.
