The distance between Bholu’s and Golu’s house is9 km. Bholu has to attend Golu’s birthday party at 7o’clock. He started from his home at 6 o’clock on his bicycle and covered a distance of6 km in40 minutes. At that point, he met Chintu and he spoke to him for 5minutes and reached Golu’s birthday party at 7o’clock. With what speed did he cover the second part of the journey? Calculate his average speed for the entire journey. The speed with which Bholu covered the second part of the journey

The speed with which Bholu covered the second part of the journey

As we know ,1 hour=60 minute

= Distance left to reach Golu’s house / Time left

=9-660-45

= 315

but 15 minute =14hour

=314=3×41=12

Hence,The speed with which Bholu covered the second part of the journey is 12km/h

The average speed of an object is defined as the total distance covered by the object by the total time taken.

Average speed = Total distance covered/ Total time taken

Average speed = 6+31

Thus,Average speed is 9 km/h
