Doesn't the insect carrier of disease get infected with the disease?

Insects are also subjected to many diseases when they are in their larvae stage as well as in their adult stage. They are infected by diseases such as bacterial diseases, pests and parasites, viral diseases, and fungal disease. There are few insects who even suffer from dysentery.

In recent years studying the diseases that infect insects has gained more popularity as there are few beneficial insects such as bees whose protection has become almost important.

Also, studies show that when a malaria-carrying mosquito infects human begin, they are affected by the same. Their mortality risk is increased by malaria itself.

The study of diseases and their cause in insects is known as insect pathology.
