Structure of plane: The upper wing of a plane is more curved than the lower wing, due to which speed of air near the upper wing is more than the speed of air near the lower wing.

Use of Bernoulli's theorem: According to Bernoulli's theorem, the pressure exerted by faster air is lesser than that of pressure exerted by slower air.

This pressure difference generated results in an upward force, i.e., a vertical lift.

Thus, the weight of a plane flying in the air is balanced by the vertical force generated due to the pressure difference between the lower and upper wings.
