Explain how fertilizer different from manure

Manure and fertilizers function in the same way that is adding fertility to the soil. But they are different from each other.

Difference between fertiliser and manure

Manure Fertiliser
Manures are obtained or prepared from natural sources like kitchen waste, vermicomposter, human waste, and by decomposing the biodegradable materials. The fertilisers are synthetically and chemically manufactured in factories and industries.
Manures are environment-friendly and are produced at a low cost. Fertilisers harm the microbes present in the soil, which help in nitrogen fixation and other important microbes useful to crop.
Increases soil fertility if used for a longer duration It also decreases soil fertility if it is prolonged and used for a longer duration.
It is cost economical for farmers. It does not cost economical for farmers.
