Solution

The correct option is B

convention

Convection:

  1. It is a kind of process by which heat is transferred by movement from a heated fluid such as air or water.
  2. When water boils, the heat is transferred from the stove into the pot, heating the water from the bottom side.
  3. This hot water comes up and cold water moves down to replace it, causing a circular motion.
  4. There are two types of heat convection, these are natural convection and forced convection.
  5. In maximum cases, both types co-occur, hence known as mixed convection.

Ventilation in the room

HEAT TRANSFER. - ppt video online download
  1. The exhaled air, which is rich in carbon dioxide, being warm and lighter goes up
  2. It then passes out through the door and windows or other ventilators in a room.
  3. This causes a pressure drop within the room Thus the cold fresh air enters from the doors and windows to fill this gap.
  4. This continuous cyclic circulation of air is maintained within the room by convection currents

Thus convection is responsible for the ventilation in the room, so option B is correct.
