We can use the identity (a-b)2=a2-2ab+b2, to find the square of 3a-4b

On applying the above identity, we get,

(3a-4b)2=(3a)2-2(3a)(4b)+(4b)2=9a2-24ab+16b2
Hence, the square of 3a-4b is 9a2-24ab+16b2.
