Find the number of people that read French and English both

Given: n(F)=7,n(E)=8 , n(N)=3 and the total number of people =15

Let n(F) denote the number of people who read French, n(E) denote the number of people who read English, n(EF) denote the number of people who read both English and French and n(N) denotes the number of people who read none.

That means,

n(F)+n(E)n(EF)+n(N)=157+8n(EF)+3=15n(EF)+18=1518-15=n(EF)3=n(EF)n(EF)=3

Hence, 3 people read both French and English, so, the correct option is (A).
