Let us assume that sugar crystals be x.

Since the weight of sugar is directly proportional to the number of sugar crystals.

29×106=5xx=5×9×1062x=45×1062x=22.5×106x=22.5×106×1010

x=2.25×107 crystals

Hence, the number of sugar crystals in 5kg of sugar is 2.25×107
