The two regions of the earth with extreme climatic conditions are the polar region and the tropical region.
The polar regions represent extreme weather conditions and inhospitable environments. Polar regions include the north and south poles, countries such as Sweden, Iceland, Norway. These regions are usually covered in snow for almost the entire year.
The region which has always a temperature of 65 degrees F or above is a tropical region. This region is also referred to as the tropical zone and the torrid zone.
