1. The organisms living in water are aquatic animals and their habitat is called water habitat or aquatic habitat.
2. The aquatic habitat can be either natural or artificial.
3. Ponds and lakes are natural habitats.
4. They contain various decomposers, that act as cleansing agents.
5. In contrast, the aquarium is an artificial habitat. No such decomposers are present in it.
6. Hence, it needs to be cleaned.
