2. Red blood cells:

• It is also known as erythrocytes.
• Most mammals' RBCs lack a nucleus and are biconcave in form.
• These cells carry a red-colored, iron-containing complex protein called hemoglobin, which gives them their color and name.

3. White blood cells:

• Because of their lack of hemoglobin, they are known as white blood cells (WBC).
• Granulocytes and agranulocytes are the two main types of WBCs.
• Granulocytes include neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils, while lymphocytes and monocytes are agranulocytes.

4. Platelets:

• They are also called thrombocytes.
• Platelets can emit a range of chemicals, the majority of which are involved in blood coagulation and clotting.
