  1. A convex lens converges a straight light beam.
  2. This lens is thicker in the centre and thins out towards the edges.
  3. When an object is positioned at infinity, the true image forms at the focus. The image is much smaller in size than the object.
  4. The real image is formed between the centre of curvature and the focus when an object is placed behind the centre of curvature. The size of the image is the same as the size of the object.
  5. When an object is at the centre of curvature, the true image forms at the opposite centre of curvature. The size of the image is the same as the size of the object.
  6. The real image is formed behind the centre of curvature when an object is placed between the centre of curvature and the focus.
