Photon:

  1. The basic particle of the visible region of illumination is the photon.

  3. The energy of a photon is often expressed in units of electron volts (1eV=1.602×10-12erg).
  4. Light wavelengths span from 400nm at the violet end of the spectrum to 700nm at the red end.
  5. Violet light has a shorter wavelength than red light. As a result, the frequency of violet is greater than that of red.

Therefore, the violet photon is more energetic than the red photon.
