Solution

The correct option is A

60

Step 1. Here acceleration is constant so we can use equations of motion.

Now taking motion along the Y-axis:

Displacement along the y-axis(sy)=32m

Acceleration along the y-axis (ay)=4ms2

Initial velocity along the y-axis (uy)=0

using the second equation of motion

Sy=uyt+15ayt2

32=0+124t2

t2=16

t=4sec

Step 2. Now taking motion along the x-axis:

Displacement along x-axis (sx)=?

Acceleration along x-axis (ax)=6

Initial velocity along the x-axis (ux)=3

Sx=uxt+15axt2

Sx=3x4+12x6x16Sx=60m

Hence, the correct option is A.
