Open in App
Solution

Inflorescence:

  1. It is the arrangement of flowers on the floral axis.
  2. Fertilization can be defined as the fusion of the pollen(haploid) and the ovum(haploid) to form a diploid zygote.
  3. One pollen can fertilize only one ovule thereby leading to the formation of one seed.
  4. Therefore, it can be said that one pollen cannot fertilize inflorescence.
