  3. Plaques are made up of deposits of fatty substances, cholesterol, cellular waste products, calcium, and fibrin.
  4. Plaques are waxy substances that lead to the blockage of arteries.
  5. The blockage can lead to decreased supply of blood to different organs such as muscles and lead to various arterial diseases such as Atherosclerosis.
