Kidney:

  1. The kidneys are a pair of bean-shaped organs, one located on each side of the spine.
  2. The functions of kidney include:
    1. Filtering blood to remove wastes and excess fluid from the body
    2. Maintain a healthy balance of various electrolytes
    3. Produce hormones that support other body functions like calcium metabolism, RBC production etc.

Symptoms of improper kidney functioning:

  1. Foamy urine
  2. Muscle cramps
  3. Dry or itchy skin
  4. Swollen ankles and feet (edema)
  5. Constant puffiness around the eyes
  6. Frequent urination
  7. Dizziness and fatigue
