The disease of the heart in which blockage of coronary arteries or narrowing occurs due to deposition of fatty material such as cholesterol, and waste products (plaque) in the coronary arteries.
It leads to an obstruction of blood flow.
Types of Coronary artery disease:
Obstructive coronary artery disease: The type of CAD makes the blood vessels blocked or narrowed due to the deposition of plaque.
Non-obstructive artery disease: The type of CAD makes the arteries constrict inappropriately after branching into tiny vessels.
