No. of moles=molarity×volume(in litre
Hence,
No. of moles in 200 mL 0.5 M=0.5×2001000 =0.1
No. of moles in 300 mL 0.7 M=0.7×3001000 =0.21 No. of moles in 500 mL 2.0 M=2.0×5001000 =1.0
Now,
Total no. of moles=0.1+0.21+1=1.31
Total Volume=(200+300+500) mL=1000 mL=1 L
Molarity of solution after mixing=1.311=1.31 M
After 10 times dilution,
Molarity = 0.131 M
