From Boyle's law:

= 650 mm Hg
= 800 cm³

= (800*40)/100 = 320 cm³
= x

So the x =
$fraction numerator 650 cross times 800 over denominator 320 end fraction$
P2 =1625 mm Hg
At 1625 mm Hg pressure of the volume of gas collected be reduced to 40% of its original volume.
