Since we know,
Potential energy PE =m×g×h
Here
Mass of the object = m
Acceleration due to gravity = g
Height to which the object is raised = h

When we are giving same velocity to the ball on the earth as well as the moon, the kinetic energy acquired by the ball is same in both cases.

As the ball goes upward, total mechanical energy will be constant which is the sum of kinetic and potential energy. At highest point, as the kinetic energy is fully converted to potential energy, the mechanical energy is equal to potential energy.
Thus potential energy at the highest point remains same both on the earth and moon.
