Solution

The correct option is D -3 to+3

A black color compound of manganese is MnO2 reacted with halogen acid like HCl,it forms chlorine gas which in turn reacts with NH3 to form NCl3 where the oxidation state of N in NH3 is changed form -3 to +3 in NCl3

MnO2+4HClMnCl2+2H2O+Cl2.

NH3+3Cl2=NCl3+3HCl (-3 changes to +3).

Hence opton A is correct.
