The correct option is A 3 m
Form maximum velocity v max=Aω;=12 m/s
and from maximum acceleration a max=Aω2=48 m/s2
where A is the amplitude of SHM.
Putting the value of ω=12A in maximum acceleration we get ,
144A2×A=48A=14448=3 m
