Solution

The correct option is D 4.4 Joule
momentum (p)=m×u=10Kgms\\
p=5×u=10

u=105=2ms

F=m×a=0.2N
when the force applied on moving object
F=5×a=0.2
a=0.25=0.04m×s2

Newton's laws of motion we will find the new velocity (v) of the object

v=u+a×t

v=2+0.04×10=2.4m×s1

change in kinetic energy

ΔK.E=12m×v212m×u2

ΔK.E=12×m(v2u2)

ΔK.E=12×5×(2.4222)

ΔK.E=0.5×5×(5.764)=4.4J

Increase in kinetic energy will be 4.4 joules.
