Here total no of coin $=36$

The value of $50$ paise coin $=$ value of $1$ rupees coin

Then $24$ coin $50$ paise coin $=12$ coin of $1$ rupees coin

Adding $24$ coin of $50$ paise $+12$ coin of one rupees $=36$ coin

Then value of $24$ coin of $50$ paise $=12$ and value $12$ coin of $1$ rupees $=12$.

Then total amount $=$ Rs. $12+12=24$
