Solution

The correct option is D GIFT
A female who cannot produce ovum but can provide suitable environment for fertilisation and development can be assisted to have children through the technique called GIFT (Gamete Intra Fallopian Transfer). In GIFT, ovum collected from the donor female is transferred into the fallopian tube of recipient female.

AI (Artificial Insemination) and IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) are useful in the infertility cases either due to inability of the male partner to inseminate the female or due to very low sperm count in the ejaculates.

ICSI is intracytoplasmic sperm injection in which a sperm is directly injected into the ovum.
