Area of floor =1080 $m^{2}$

Base of parallelogram shaped tile (b) =24 cm

and corresponding height (h)=10 cm

$∴ A r e a o f o n e t i l e = b \times h = 24 \times 10 = 240 c m^{2}$

$= \frac{240}{10000} = \frac{24}{1000} m^{2}$

$∴ N u m b e r o f t i l e s r e q u i r e d = \frac{\frac{1080}{24}}{1000}$

$= 1080 \times \frac{1000}{24} = 45000$ tiles.
