The correct option is A 15

Let the fraction be xy

Then according to the question,

x+1y+1=4 .....(1) and x1y1=7 .....(2)

From (1),

x+1=4(y+1)

x=4y+3 ....(3)

From (2),

x1=7(y1)

x=7y6 ....(4)

From (3) and (4),

4y+3=7y6

3y=9

y=3 ...(5)

From (4) and (5),

x=4×3+3=15

Numerator of the fraction =x=15
